Life

Well, I've been in Georgia now since January, and am still going through shock almost every day. I like it...but it's very different from any of the places I've ever lived. I work in Macon and statistics say that only 50% of Macon's residents are literate. Can you believe that?!?! I just want to help the kids be motivated to stay iin school and partake in their classes. For now I can maybe help some of my non-reading residents how to read!

Our New Addition

Lovie
We bought Lovie on Superbowl Sunday so we decided to name her after Lovie Smith.
(She weighs 1.5 pounds...Harley= 75 lbs and Bella= 55 lbs.)

Harley and Bella Rose have been AMAZING with her! Harley gives two craps about her (he's getting used to new puppies coming into his house). Bella Rose is obsessed with mothering her. Lovie is Bella's little baby to care for.
